Rules

Spam Cup tournaments are played in one of two modes. Choose a mode to see its rules.

Fearless Draft

Every match is a draft played on the site, with the competition rules. They are locked when the draft is created: only the format (BO1 or BO3) and the first pick can be chosen.

The first pick alternates every game: the player who starts game 1 also starts game 3.

Format

  • BO1: one draft. BO3: three drafts back to back, played as one match.
  • Each player picks 4 cards per game.
  • The creator of the draft is player A (blue), the invited player is player B (red).
  • Practice mode is not available in competition.

Unique pick per match (Fearless)

  • A card can only be picked once in the whole match, by either player.
  • In BO3, the cards picked in game 1 can no longer be picked in games 2 and 3, and so on.
  • The cards already used are marked “Used in G1”, “Used in G2”…

Bans

  • One ban per player per game, after 2 picks each. The player who picked first bans first.
  • A banned card can't be picked by anyone for the rest of that game.
  • A ban only counts for its own game: the card is available again in the next game (unless it was picked).
  • You can only ban a card that is still available: not one already picked or used in a previous game.

Timer

  • 1:00 for every pick and every ban.
  • The timer starts when the invited player clicks “Ready”.
  • When time runs out, your pre-picked card is locked in. Without a pre-pick: a random available card for a pick, no ban for a ban.
  • The timer keeps running if you leave the page: stay until the end of the draft.

How to pick

  • Left click on a card: pre-pick it. Your opponent sees your pre-pick live.
  • Right click on a card: see its talents, abilities and resistances.
  • Click “Select” (or “Ban” during the ban phase) to confirm. A confirmed choice can't be undone.

Fair play

  • One account or guest name per player, no one else picks for you.
  • The result of the draft is final once both teams are complete.
